Inspired by paper folding and exploring wool felt properties, this project attempts to twist the traditional idea of a lamp. The Light Hive has a soft body which allows for easy flat packing and is both eco-friendly and flame retardant. I learned how to design flat patterns that would eventually translate to 3-D forms.
